Do you guys know why Smart-UPS 1000 RM battery has swollen up twice within six months. It has got HP San and HP Tape Drive and a HP tape drive.
Your UPS is overcharging the battery, common with APC SmartUPS.
Recalibrate the float charge per my post above, or buy a new UPS. [edited to include quote]
